Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Scientists respond to Gore's warnings of climate catastrophe

Gore and his ilk aren't actually interested in any factual basis for their sales pitch, they are simply moving snake oil to the masses of wide-eyed Kool-Aid drinkers in the environmental movement. As has been demonstrated before, the environmental movement has become the new home for Marxism in Western Civilization. Understanding that, Gore's quest for power becomes obvious. Truth has ever been an obstacle to those who would establish an authoritarian state. Propaganda has ever been the weapon of choice for them to use to defeat truth.
