In which Steve further marvels at how annoyed one can become at being painted into a rational corner
Steve whines...
Getting a little testy, are we? Now, now, Andy, you're the one who always advises the rest of us to remain objective.
There was no whining in what you quoted.
When did I say that???
When did you say what? There's nothing in the sentence you quoted that asserts you said anything. Read it again.
To be honest, I go vote but I don't really think in terms of who will control what & where. I just go vote my conscience...
Really? How do you plan to vote in the Stokes County Commissioner race?
If you believe that, then vote for non-GOP candidates.
You're committing a logic error. You assume that someone who believes what I indicated also believes that removing the Republicans from power will result in any different outcome. My point was that Kool-aid drinkers vote for the GOP hoping for a miracle when their continued support will actually assure exactly the opposite effect. I don't necessarily subscribe to the belief that losing power will cure the GOP. We've seen in the past that the GOP reacts to a loss by resolving to act more like the Democrats and in so doing, regain power. But there's the key in it all: to both parties it's all about obtaining and retaining power, nothing else.
I'm sure the BP readers are crying in their beer... Steve is turning to the dark side of the force.
I'm not really sure what that even means.
