Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Split Supreme Court Orders EPA to Act on Greenhouse Gases

Here we have an excellent illustration of the desperate need for a constitutional amendment limiting the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. This is also just another in a series of decisions that shows the liberals on the court to be oligarchical activists.This court has become a sham and a disgrace to the vision of the founders.
