Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Fred Thompson's Wife...

With Fred Thompson running an unofficial-official campaign for president, there's been some buzz about Thompson's wife, Jeri Kehn (she's 24 years his junior). I have to say, if Thompson becomes the 44th president of the United States, we will have an attractive first lady to represent us at ribbon-cutting ceremonies and at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll...

Strother told me a couple of months ago that Thompson dated country singer Lorrie Morgan during the 90's...

I wonder what's his secret??? It's definitely not his looks that attract these women... He must be a charmer. I bet Bill Clinton is envious of him. :-)
