Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Obama to Visit Greensboro Wednesday for Town Hall Meeting

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) - Democratic presidential primary candidate Barack Obama will visit Greensboro on Wednesday, March 25th, his second day of campaigning in North Carolina in as many weeks.

The town hall meeting will be held at the War Memorial Auditorium in Greensboro and is free and open to the public.

Free tickets will be required and can be picked up at 6600 West Market Street (Guilford County Democrats HQ) and the Atrium at UNCG. There is a limit of two tickets per person.
