Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Report: Hooker Behind Spitzer's Fall Revealed

NEW YORK (Fox News) — "Kristen," the high-priced prostitute whom New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer is believed to have hired, has been identified by the New York Times as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, a 22-year-old aspiring musician and native of New Jersey.

Dupre, who was born Ashley Youmans, now lives in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, the Times reports. She appeared in court Monday as a witness against the four people charged in the alleged prostitution ring known as the Emperors Club V.I.P.

"I just don't want to be thought of as a monster," Dupre told The New York Times in a telephone interview.

Tempting, but no thanks.

College girls with well-done implants and nice tans are wonderful, I suppose, but are they worth $4100 an hour, not to mention your marriage and your career? I doubt it.

Keep in mind also, at Spitzer's level, it isn't about sex or even romance. It's about power. The $4100 price tag was probably more of a turn-on for him than the tan, the bikini, or the enhanced boobies.

No, I'm pretty sure they're real.

Aw c'mon, Strother, they look like bowling balls in grain sacks. I'm giving 4-1 odds they are man made.

I wonder if she has a website...

She has a MySpace site. I believe that's how the media got her pictures.
