Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Wow! Does the statute really say "student?" We really have become a fascist country, haven't we? We will probably find out that the "student" was 17 or 18 and that everything was consensual.

Bad judgment? Definitely. A felony? Give me a break.

John Brasfield has not and will not be proven guilty. Who knows why this arrogant little brat made this entire story up. Hopefully the girl will come clean Wednesday (the set court date), when she sees that she is not only ruining a wonderful man's reputation in a small community, but also his families.
