Charges against Fulp dismissed

(The Stokes News) - After three years of continuances in court, the Stokes County District Attorney’s office dismissed charges against Danbury resident Michael Ray Fulp on March 18.

According to court documents, Fulp was convicted of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine on July 15, 2002, and ordered to three years of probation, which was scheduled to run out on July 15, 2005.

Four months before his probation expired, an informant reported to the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office that Fulp allegedly was in possession of drugs again. Based on that information, the sheriff’s office secured a search warrant and executed it on March 24, 2005, at Fulp’s home at 3154 N.C. 8 North, Danbury.
