Jones wants to see industry grow, aesthetics stay in the county

(The Stokes News) - Finding the right kind of industries and businesses that will enhance the economics in the county, but also maintain and preserve the aesthetics that so many people enjoy about Stokes is what Ronda Jones hopes to do if she is elected to fill one of two available seats on the board of commissioners.

But to be a party candidate for a seat on the Stokes County Board of Commissioners, Jones has to first win a nomination in the primary elections taking place over the next week or so.

Running for office is not a spur of the moment decision, Jones explained recently. She has been educating herself and planning for this opportunity for several years, including making a concerted effort to get to know the county she has chosen to make her home.
