Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

"Notice in this story Obama's campaign manager notes that his attacks on McCain will deal with the issues Americans care about. Apparently they think one of those big, fat serious issues is whether or not McCain sends emails. Obviously, this ad is an attack on McCain's age. Proving once again that Obama is the ultimate hypocrite."
