Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Why has Biden taken a day off the trail?

(By Ed Morrissey, Hot Air) - According to campaign sources, Joe Biden has no events planned for today — despite the election being only two weeks away. What happened? Could Team Obama have pulled Slow Joe off the trail after telling people that Barack Obama’s election would provoke our enemies into a confrontation with us, and maybe more than one?
