Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Grand Ole Palin Pool Party

(TMZ) - Does this look like the current leader of Alaska, and former McCain running mate or just another candid shot of a celeb with nice legs kickn' it by the pool?



It's no coincidence -- Sarah Palin oozes the celeb vibe and appears more than comfortable with it.

The pic was taken at the Republican Governor's Conference in Miami. Sarah apparently cut out of the seminar on post traumatic election stress syndrome.
