Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Economic Reporting: Then and Now



(FrankStrategies) - Has anybody else noticed that the media stubbornly refused to fairly report improving economic news in 2003 and 2004, as President Bush prepared for a tough re-election battle, while the same media is now euphorically jumping on any sign of economic improvement with President Obama in the White House? Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
