Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Endeavour Soars into Space!



(NASA TV) - Space shuttle Endeavour launches from Kennedy Space Center, Fla., on July 15, 2009, to begin the STS-127 mission to the International Space Station. The shuttle crew will complete construction of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory and deliver a new crew member to the orbital outpost.
