Groom Dies of Cancer Two Days After Wedding

(Fox 8 News) - A Thomasville man stricken with testicular cancer has died, two days after marrying his girlfriend, his family told FOX8 News.

Anthony Mohney married his girlfriend, Danielle Starr, on Saturday, not long after finding out he only had a short time to live. The couple rushed around and planned the wedding in four days to honor Mohney's wish of getting married before he died.

A hospice chaplain married them Saturday.

His family said Mohney lost his battle with cancer Monday morning.
