Hats off: School Board votes to revise Student Code of Conduct

(By Leslie Bray Evans, The Stokes News) - The topic of whether or not to allow students to wear hats, toboggans, hoods, kerchiefs or other headgear on school property during school hours sparked a debate at Monday evening’s school board meeting.

This discussion surfaced when a proposed revision to the Student Code of Conduct came up on the action agenda. The revised rule would make headwear taboo on Stokes County campuses while school is in session.
