Stokes Tea Party Patriots prepare to protest government spending

(By Meghann Evans, The Stokes News) - This Fourth of July many local residents will celebrate America’s independence by protesting for small government at Stokes County’s first Tea Party.

This event will take place in support of tea parties that have been taking place around the nation.

“If enough people across the country have tea parties, the cumulative effect could help bring some change,” said Jack Gibson, an organizer of the event.
