Bully Pulpit

Good Vibes: Citizens Baseball Stadium Review Committee likes what it sees during tour

(By Laura Graff, Winston-Salem Journal) - Members of the Citizens Baseball Stadium Review Committee toured Winston-Salem's downtown ballpark yesterday, asking questions that ranged from the number of on-site parking spaces to the kinds of changes that have been made to the stadium plans since construction first started two years ago.

After the tour, some committee members said they were impressed.

"I think Winston-Salem, we're going to be proud of this stadium once it's built," said Gordon Slade, who is the finance director for the Winston-Salem State University Foundation. "I feel pretty good about things."
