The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. The incredible shrinking Rush Limbaugh

(The Palm Beach Post) - For his fans, there’s a lot less to love about Rush Limbaugh.

The controversial conservative radio talker told his audience he lost 79 pounds since March, tipping the scale at a respectable 210. And he won’t let go until he weighs about 200, and maybe lower.

Oxycontin? Ebola? Mexican flu?

No, no and no.
