Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Biden to Scott Brown: ‘I Want to Talk to You About Your Kids’



Mediaite: Recently elected Sen. Scott Brown was sworn in today by Vice President Joe Biden, giving Massachusetts a brand new senator. Microphones caught post-oath chit-chat between the two politicians in which Biden was heard to say “I want to talk to you about your kids.”
