Dash says sales great: It has enough to repay debt to city 3 times, it says

(By Laura Graff, Winston-Salem Journal) - The Winston-Salem Dash front office has sold enough ticket packages and received enough sponsorship commitments to pay three times the amount of debt the team owes to the city and its lenders in the first year of operation of the new downtown ballpark, the team president said last week.

Geoff Lassiter, who took over as Dash president in January, said those revenues make him optimistic about the team's ability to earn money this year.

"We feel very good, as a company, of where we are with our revenues right now," Lassiter said.
