State panel OKs home: Hospice plans to build home in Stokes County

Earlier this month, the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation approved a Certificate of Need submitted by Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, which is based in Winston-Salem.
The certificate, known as a CON, paves the way for Hospice to build a home in Stokes County.
Hospice officials are looking for about 20 acres in a central location, said JoAnn Davis, the president and CEO of Hospice.
