Rush Limbaugh's Morning Update: Believe It or Not

Rush Limbaugh: Well, first, folks, they spent trillions on bailouts; the Porkulus that didn't produce jobs. Then, auto takeovers, more bank takeovers, the health care takeover -- complete with tax increases -- and student loan takeover. And that's the short list.

Now comes a new item on the Democrats' "Destroy America" checklist. Within six years, every "worker" in the nation will be required to carry a national identification card, containing biometric information. It's part of a new immigration proposal Democrats are planning to unleash.

Illinois Senator Dick Turban says that the biometric ID is a "critical element" of the new policy. He said: "For a long time it was resisted by many groups, but now we live in a world where we take off our shoes at the airport and pull out our identification. People understand that in this vulnerable world, we have to be able to present identification. We want it to be reliable, and I think that's going to help us in this debate on immigration."

Now, wait a second, folks. Pardon me, but wasn't it just last week that enraged liberals were calling Arizona's new immigration law "racist" for requiring illegal aliens to show "papers" when they're stopped during normal enforcement actions?

The Democrats call their national ID program the "Believe System." Believe it or not, it's an acronym for: Biometric Enrollment, Locally-stored Information and Electronic Verification of Employment.

"Believe System"? No way, folks. This is just more Democrat BS that we have to try to defeat. They never stop coming at us.
