Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Chris Matthews: Sarah Palin Is "Proud" That She Doesn't "Know Anything"



(Real Clear Politics Video) - MSNBC's Chris Matthews is "dead serious" that Sarah Palin is "uneducated" and proud that she does not "know anything."

Matthews claims Palin "knows things" without reading news material. Matthews says Palin has the mindset of "I don't read books" or "I don't need information."
