The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Signs Touting Stimulus Projects In Ohio Cost Taxpayers $1 Million



(Real Clear Politics Video) - Ohio's WHIO-TV reports on taxpayer frustration in southwest Ohio over wasteful spending on road signs touting the stimulus. Prohibiting these signs and recapturing funds spent is currently being offered as an idea by the GOP on AmericaSpeakingOut.com and YouCut.

Note: Cleveland warned about the cost of these signs in September 2009.
