The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Ed Schultz: GOP Committing "Terrorism" On The Poor



(MSNBC) - Ed Schultz is joined by Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and the Nation’s Katrina vanden Heuvel to debate whether Senate Democrats will be able to pass a bill before the August recess to help the unemployed who have exhausted their 99 weeks of benefits.

Ed Schultz says the government has to step in and start hiring and he doesn't care if it is called "socialism."
