Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Al Gore: United States Government Has Failed Us



(Breitbart.tv) - During an Aug. 10 conference call with his supporters, the former Vice President said the global warming battle has been lost for the time being. He placed blame solely on the U.S. government, specifically the Senate, controlled by Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada.
