Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Howard Dean: 'Lost Souls' Follow 'Racist Hate-Monger' Glenn Beck
