Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

NY Jets Football Player Has Trouble Naming All 8 Kids



(Three Fingers of Politics) - Last night on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” (a show that follows a professional football team during the grueling 3 week period prior to the start of the season) NY Jets player Antonio Cromartie was asked about his family, specifically to name all of his children. In the video, Cromartie is seen discussing being a father and when finally asked to name all EIGHT of his children, it takes him over 30 seconds.
