Breastfeeding Mom Asked to Cover Up Inside Coffee Shop

GREENSBORO N.C. (WGHP) - A woman sitting inside a Greensboro coffee shop was asked to cover up if she wanted to breastfeed her child.

Becky Lange said she was sitting inside the Cup of Serenity coffee shop on Farmington Dr. with her 3-month-old child, Lorelei, when the coffee shop's co-owner asked her to cover up if she decided to breastfeed inside the coffee shop.

Lange said she has breastfed many times inside the coffee shop without a problem. Today was the first time someone said something to her.
