Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Christine O’Donnell at 2010 Values Voter Summit

(The Right Scoop) - Christine O’Donnell stepped out for her first big speech today after she won the Delaware primary on Tuesday. I thought she did a great job and she managed to get quite a bit of applause through her speech. The speech runs about 18 minutes.

After all of the negative attention from the elite media, Ms. O'Donnell appears to win over her audience and does not appear to be the insane moron she has been painted as. Could it be that all of the piling on will end up working to her benefit?
