Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Labor Day Special: Andrew Breitbart vs. Richard Trumka



(Breitbart.tv) - April 2010: Andrew Breitbart challenges AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka on his assertion that Tea Parties are fomenting rage in America. During his response, Trumka claims that he heard racial slurs shouted at congressmen in Washington DC during ObamaCare protests. Mr. Trumka has never been identified in any of the many videos available from that day. Mr. Trumka's annual salary $260,781.
