Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Obama’s Tepid Words of Praise for Bush is Too Much for MSNBC’s Hosts



(Breitbart.tv) - MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow share their lamentations over President Obama's mild assertion that President Bush supported our troops and loves our country. Apparently, for the left, even those basic words of mild praise are not appropriate for President Bush.
