Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Charlie Crist Would "Absolutely" Have Left The GOP If He Were 20 Pts. Up In The Primary



(Real Clear Politics Video) - During a Palm Beach Post editorial board interview, Charlie Crist was asked if he would have left the Republican Party if he were 20 points up in the polls. Crist replied "absolutely." When pressed by the board about saying in February and March that he wouldn't leave the GOP, Crist replied, "Things change."
