Monday is 'Christian Flag Day' in King, NC


KING, N.C. (WGHP) - Monday is being called "Christian Flag Day" in King after city leaders voted to remove the Christian Flag from the Veterans Memorial last month.

According to a flyer being distributed in King, residents are encouraged to fly their flag on Monday.

"We are asking citizens, business owners and churches to demonstrate support for the Christian Flag to fly atop the Veterans Memorial at Central Park in King, NC by flying a Christian flag on this day," the flyer reads.
