Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Adzheimers? Delaware TV Station ‘Forgets’ to Air Christine O’Donnell Documentary

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - You can call it an “oops” an “oh no!“ or a ”someone’s going to get fired,” but Christine O’Donnell has her own theory as to why a local TV station in Delaware did not air her new documentary-style campaign video this morning, scheduled for 10 am.

“Dirty politics again?” O’Donnell tweeted in response to the news. “I‘d like to think the county run station really did just ’forget’ even though we reminded them this morning.
