High Point Section of 311 Bypass Nears Completion

HIGH POINT, NC (WGHP) — It's not something that usually happens, but a Piedmont highway project is expected to be finished six months ahead of schedule.

If all goes according to plan, the U.S. 311 Bypass that stops at Business 85 in High Point should be completed on Nov. 22.

The seven-mile stretch of road cost $1.4 million to complete and wasn't supposed to be complete until May, 2011.
