King to Post Flag Policy on City Website

The controversy concerning the flying of the Christian flag stems from an Afghanistan war who veteran complained that the flag didn't belong there. The flag was removed in September from the park.

The proposed policy allows veterans and their family, who are citizens of King, to fly a flag that honors the veteran for one week at a time at the Veteran's Memorial Park.
