Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Ronald Reagan Biographer Refutes Bob Woodward's Claim Obama's Too Busy to be Effective: Reagan Was Just As Busy



(Breitbart.tv) - Bob Woodward believes Obama is too busy to write his own speeches because he has too much to do, like visit Ohio. Edmund Morris assures him Obama is no busier than Ronald Reagan, and Reagan still had time to write speeches and letters by hand.
