The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. MSNBC's Contessa Brewer Hopes to See More 'Progress' From Mormons on Accepting Homosexuality



(Eyeblast.tv) - Interviewing Fred Sainz of the Human Rights Campaign shortly before 1 p.m. EST on November 17, MSNBC's Contessa Brewer expressed hope that she would "see more progress" from the Mormon church in the future when it comes to their traditional view that homosexuality is sinful.
