Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

MSNBC's Keith Olbermann & Rep. Eric Cantor Exchange On-Air Jabs

(By Meredith Jessup, The Blaze) - I don‘t blame House Minority Whip Eric Cantor for savoring the irony of his appearance on MSNBC [last] tonight to brag about conservative comebacks when each of the network’s panelists declared the GOP dead for a generation just two short years ago. But Cantor’s less-than-subtle jab at the liberal-leaning network didn’t go unnoticed as Keith Olbermann responded with his own snide remark.

Oh, what fun election night is!
