Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Carl Bernstein: Obama Inherited Worst Situation of Any President Since the 1930's



(Eyeblast.tv) - Liberal Watergate journalistic "legend" Carl Bernstein chimed in during a pity party for President Obama on Wednesday's "Morning Joe." The mess President Obama inherited when he entered the Oval Office was the worst of any incoming president since the Great Depression, he argued.
