Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough: “I May Feel The Need To Run For Office Again”

(By Mark Joyella, Mediaite) - MSNBC’s morning man Joe Scarborough tells PARADE magazine that he may not be done with politics–not covering them on 'Morning Joe', that is, but serving in Congress.

Scarborough, who was elected to Congress from Florida–and was suspended by MSNBC for supporting candidates in the Sunshine State–said he’s thought about running again. “I think I may at some point.”
