Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Sarah Palin Jabs Michelle Obama Over Dessert During TV Show

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - On Sunday night’s episode of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” the feisty former governor took a jab at Michelle Obama’s war on sweets and “unhealthy” eating. The show featured Palin and family on a road trip, during which they decided to make s’mores. While looking for the ingredients, Palin joked about what Michelle might think (via Politico):
