Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Activists Clash With Japanese Whalers in Antarctic Seas

(By Meredith Jessup, The Blaze) - Japan’s Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR) has released video they claim shows an anti-whaling conservation group attacking their ship on the high seas of Antarctica. The video appears to show Sea Shepherd activists aboard an inflatable boat launching flares and smoke bombs at Japanese whalers.
