Comedy gold: Joe Biden’s dating advice for young ladies

(By Allahpundit, Hot Air) - Via Stephen Gutowski and Eyeblast, the gold isn’t in the advice itself but in how taken with it Biden seems to be. It’s a textbook example of why it’s hard to dislike the guy: This is the sort of corny but well-meaning joke your uncle or grandfather would make at a family reunion, and precisely because it’s well-meaning, you feel obliged to laugh in spite of the corniness. Plus, pity the poor veep who has to schmooze the families of a dozen or more new senators. Sure, he could come up with a stable of jokes to vary it a bit, but why mess with what works? 'Stick with what you know, Joe.'
