Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Flashback: Pro-Pigford Congressman Mum on ‘Widespread Fraud’ Question Before House Vote



(Breitbart.tv) - A few months ago a Big Government stringer confronted Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-GA) on Capitol Hill before the House voted to fund Pigford II - adding another $1.25 billion to the Pigford pot.

Rep. Bishop's non-response before the vote is especially illuminating now that we have heard from discriminated against by the USDA black farmers and Pigford whistle-blowers, Eddie Slaughter and Willie Head.
