The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

‘Who Are You?’ Local Station Tries to Re-Write Bob Etheridge Video Story



(Breitbart.tv) - The defeat of Rep. Bob Etheridge by GOP new-comer Rep. Renee Ellmers is the focus of this documentary from WRAL in Rep. Ellmers' district.

The famous video involving Rep. Etheridge, broken here at Breitbart.tv and BigGovernment.com, is described as an "ambush", "gotcha" video. The focus of the documentary quickly shifts from Rep. Etheridge's vote for ObamaCare and failiure to speak out against the Ground Zero Mosque and instead targets the "Citizens United" ruling that lifted the unconstitutional limitations on corporations to pay for political causes.
