Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Winston Churchill’s Teeth Sell at Auction



(Breitbart.tv) - A set of Winston Churchill's false teeth has sold at auction for 16,000 pounds. The British wartime leader had problems with his teeth, and speech, from an early age and had solid gold dentures designed to compensate for his distinctive lisp when public speaking.
