Best Super Bowl Ad Ever? A Sneak Peek At Volkswagen’s Mini Darth Vader Commercial

(By Dan Fogarty, SportsGrid) - Volkswagen has unveiled their Super Bowl commercial for this Sunday, and by Monday morning, it may have vaulted itself into the discussion as one of the best Super Bowl ads ever. The spot, which SB Nation says will premiere this weekend, features a tiny Darth Vader walking around his home, trying to impose The Force on household objects, but to no avail.

A stationary bike, the family dog, and a baby doll are all unresponsive to the pint-sized Jedi’s attempts at mind control. When the diminutive Sith lord’s father returns home in his Volkswagen, he rushes out to the driveway for one last attempt at imposing his evil will through telepathy.
